A little about myself...

It was after attending a Reiki class in Wakefield Quebec with my sister that I became aware of crystals and gemstones and the strength and awareness I experienced wearing my first quartz crystal (that I found as a wire wrapped piece in a markey in Shediak, New Brunswick). For me it was like having my own talisman to remind me of what I wanted to pay attention to in my life. I was soon hooked on gemstones and wire wrapped jewelry. After taking a few classes and spending time developing my own style, Mythral Mountain Jewels was born (I am a huge Lord of the Rings fan!).

I create original pieces in my home studio in the village of Fitzroy Harbour where I work as a transfomational and emotional life coach, musician as well as artist!

I never thought I was a “creative” person until after I turned 40 years old. I then started to just let go of what others might think of me as I began to do some of the things I had only dreamt of my whole life - things like singing, playing music, drawing, starting to work with wire and designing my own jewelry. In the beginning, it was very exposing and revealing to be expressing myself in a creative way but at the same time so liberating and insightful. It is never too late to start doing what you are drawn to do.
